Dr. Jake Kleinmahon is the Medical Director of Pediatric Heart Transplant and Heart Failure Cohen Children's Medical Center/Northwell Health. He is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Director. Dr. Kleinmahon trained in Pediatrics at Tulane University Hospital and Ochsner Hospital for Children before completing fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Heart Transplant and Heart Failure at Children s Hospital Colorado. He is also fellowship trained in pediatric pulmonary hypertension After fellowship, Dr Kleinmahon became the Medical Director of Pediatric Heart Transplant and Heart Failure at Ochsner Hospital for Children, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is well published in the field of pediatric heart failure and heart transplant. He is active in the Pediatric Heart Transplant Society, Advanced Cardiac Therapies Improving Outcomes Network, and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. His interests include taking care of children with heart transplants, cardiomyopathies, pulmonary hypertension, and congenital heart disease.
