Biography Click to expand
As an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University, I am a clinically active pediatric nephrologist and clinical researcher. My primary research involves questions about how to utilize HLA molecular-mismatch analysis to improve the algorithm for deceased donor allocation and optimize living donor selection. Further research includes investigations in FSGS recurrence after transplantation, living donor selection and deceased donor allocation, clinical trials investigating pharmaceuticals in pediatric kidney disease, and racial disparities in pediatric kidney transplantation. I am also actively engaged in national transplantation discourse through my roles in the American Society for Transplantation and American Society of Pediatric Nephrology.
