Nicos Kessaris

Nicos Kessaris is a Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Surgeon, and Joint Transplant Lead, at Guy’s Hospital, London, UK. He is also a Paediatric Transplant Surgeon at Evelina London Children’s Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospitals and was the Paediatric Transplant Surgical Lead between 2016-2022. In addition, he specialises in ABO and HLA incompatible kidney transplantation, living donor nephrectomy and vascular access surgery. He has been a Councillor for the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) between 2019-2023 and a Board Member of the European Kidney Transplant Association (EKITA) between 2017 and 2019. Furthermore, he has been a UEMS examiner since 2014 and the Treasurer for the UEMS Division of Transplant Surgery between 2023-2026. Mr. Kessaris is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London and teaches at the Live Donor Nephrectomy (LiDo) course in Rotterdam.
